Kermanshah is the capital of Kermanshah Province in the western part of Iran. Most of the
surface of the province lies within the Zagros chain, which forms the western periphery of
the Iranian Plateau. The economy of Kermanshah depends on agriculture, industry,
manufacturing complexes and oil refinery
Most of the industrial activities of Kermanshah Province are concentrated in the
capital. There are also several operative factories that manufacture textiles for local
consumption. Other industries include food processing, handicrafts, electrical and
mechanical appliances, and cement and construction materials, as well as mining of marble
and limestone. The rural economy has remained the backbone of the province’s
livelihood. Adequate rainfall and fertile soil have made Kermanshah one of the major
agricultural areas in the country
Housing, is one of the most important needs of human life. This phenomenon is one of the
representations of human civilization which is dependent on facilities and conditions
present in the natural environment of human communities. Housing is among the most
fundamental and sensitive parts in economic and social development planning and is something
more than a physical shelter and includes all required general services and facilities for a
better life for human beings and they should be complied with a long last and safe
construction

economic and social difficulties by hiring local employees, preparing a
checklist of design principles and standards in architectural and urban scales
and observing them to improve residential satisfaction according to all
environmental quality criteria, planning and preparing appropriate access to
complexes and from them to important urban uses, and affecting neighborhood
units by allotting housing units to specific social groups with homogeneous
communities to promote participation and social interactions

Paveh is located in western Iran and is 112 km far from Kermanshah. It lies in a
sub-region along the Iran-Iraq border commonly referred to as Hewraman, which is
situated within the larger geographical region of Kurdistan. The city is
considered by inhabitants of the region as the capital of Hewraman. The
community-based tourism promoted economic, social, cultural, and environmental
indicators, leading to rural development. Moreover, the regression analysis on
the intended variables suggested economic indicators played the highest role in
local community development, followed by social, cultural, and environmental
indicators

Due city’s low rate of employment, a significant portion of local labor force
