Kan, a district located northwest of Tehran with two main villages-“Kan” and
“Soleghan”- that are connected by the 33 km “Kan River”.
The location of “Losk Valley” is where Kan River enters from the northwestern
part of Tehran. This roaring river crosses the northern path of Metro line 6 and
can cause lots of damages while floods. Hence, it is essential to build a
structure strong enough to control the water flow in unpredictable situations
